Martuljek or Špik group, which rises above Gozd Martuljek, is a real world for lovers of unspoiled wilderness. The area of this mountain group with the valley of the Martuljek stream was declared a landscape park in 1949, and since 1981 it has been part of the Triglav National Park.
For hikers, there are some marked forest trails, pleasant for hot summers. There are more options for off-road enthusiasts. There are no mountain huts, there are only two bivouacs in the glacial ridges Za Akom and Pod Srcem.
