Kranjska Gora is re-entering the summer season with bus services to the Vrata Valley and a tourist bus that will circulate around Kranjska Gora.
As the landscape and preserved cultural heritage pass by you on the tourist bus, you will feel the pulse of the places under Triglav. The bus is intended for all visitors who like to travel between places on a relaxing holiday, and for locals to help them with their daily chores, for whom the use of the bus will be free of charge. Children up to and including the age of 6 years travel free on the bus, everyone else will pay €3 for a day ticket. The tourist bus will run between 1 July and 31 August 2023.
Dolina Vrata velja za eno lepših slovenskih gorskih dolin. In order to keep nature unspoilt, we have set up a bus line that will take hikers and other visitors to the valley safely from Mojstrana, a village under Triglav, to the Peričnik waterfall, all the way to the Aljaž’s home in Vrata. Bus services on this route will run from 01 July to 22 July and from 21 August to 3 September and weekends in September.
The buses to Vrata are part of the Vrata Valley Traffic Calming Project, supported by the Triglav National Park, where we want to ensure that as many guests and tourists as possible use public transport to get to the Vrata Valley.
Please be informed that the new car park Na Prodih in Mojstrana (old railway station) will be subject to a charge. The car park has a capacity of 123 parking spaces for cars, including 7 spaces for disabled persons and two spaces for charging electric vehicles (not yet in operation), and there is also a bicycle shelter.
Parking costs EUR 1.00 per hour and EUR 10.00 per day. From 1 July, a free shuttle bus will also pick up passengers at the car park.
