With the Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo approaching, the Slovenian torch’s journey across Slovenia is also approaching, bringing with it weekends filled with sports, cheering, and fun.
The Slovenian torch, which is travelling around Slovenia ahead of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, will stop in Mojstrana, where it will be carried to Cortina by Olympians Zvone Šuvak (Sarajevo 1984; ice hockey), Alenka Dovžan (Lillehammer 1994 and bronze medal; 1998 Nagano, 2002 Salt Lake City; alpine skiing), Sadik Mujkić (Seoul 1988 and bronze medal, Barcelona 1992 and bronze medal; 1996 Atlanta; rowing), Janez Demšar (Innsbruck 1976; ski jumping) and Marko Milenkovič (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004; swimming).
