On the white slopes of the domestic mountains, a lecture by Matej Mejovšek Friday, December 5, 2025, at 6 PM
The domestic mountains – the Julian Alps, the Karavanke mountains… – become more mysterious, and also more attractive, when covered by a blanket of snow. As such, these nearby mountains are more difficult to access, but they offer that genuine exploration, skiing from the summits, ascending across the ridges, and detachment from everyday tasks in the valley… This is a magnificent winter world of mountains, where a skier can find primary lines and truly feel useless. This time, Matej Mejovšek, an alpinist and ski tourer, will take you into the domestic mountains and share his rich skiing moments with you.
