The Icy Kingdom and the Live Nativity Scene in Ice – A fairy tale returning to Mojstrana!
We are thrilled to announce that the festive performance The Live Nativity scene in ice is returning to Mojstrana this year, and together with the Icy Kingdom, it will once again open its doors to visitors. The venue in the Mlačca Gorge is famous for its ice climbing, ice sculptures, winter lighting and beautiful natural ambience, which attracts visitors of all ages every year.
A live nativity scene in the ice
A unique performance of the Christmas story, surrounded by 25-metre ice waterfalls and lit by torches, will give visitors an unforgettable festive experience. Performances will take place from 25 to 30 December, daily at 4, 5 and 6 pm, during which time the Ice Kingdom will be available exclusively as part of the show. In a magical setting, visitors will be able to watch a live re-enactment of the nativity scene, surrounded by fairy-tale ice figures and an unforgettable lighting set.
The Icy Kingdom – A new chapter with new content
This year, the Icy Kingdom will offer even more special features! There will be new light installations, expanded photo points for those who love winter memories and a host of fairy-tale inhabitants who will accompany you through the icy fairytale.
The opening date of the Icy Kingdom will be announced at a later date, as we are subject to winter conditions and low temperatures.
