Cross-country skiing

Snowy route, guide me! Set your own trail for cross-country skiing!

There’s nothing more beautiful than cross-country skiing through the winter landscape. Kranjska Gora and its surroundings offer daily groomed cross-country ski trails suitable for beginners as well as for more experienced cross-country skiers.

You can enjoy cross-country skiing at the Rateče-Planica Ski and Cross-Country Ski Centre, or if you don’t mind the exertion during your recreation, you can head further on from the Planica flying hill towards Tamar. Spruces dressed in winter coats will accompany you all the way to the final stop, the mountain hut in Tamar.

When there is sufficient natural snow, cross-country trails are also arranged in Gozd Martuljek, Mojstrana and Zgornja Radovna.

If you prefer to run at night rather than during the day, there are beautifully groomed cross-country ski trails under floodlights behind the Hotel Kompas in Kranjska Gora.
