The destination Kranjska Gora has prepared and published its latest Sustainability Report, which presents its achievements and key guidelines in the field of sustainable tourism development in the local environment.
The report has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Slovenian Green Scheme of Tourism (ZSST), a national certification program under the Slovenia Green brand. Since 2014, the Slovenian Green Tourism Scheme has been promoting a systematic and responsible approach to tourism development in Slovenia. It is based on the internationally recognized Green Destinations Standard, which provides a professional basis, comparability, and recognition of the sustainable efforts of destinations. In accordance with the ZSST guidelines, destinations publish their most important achievements and progress in the field of sustainability at least every three years. The municipality of Kranjska Gora is thus transparently presenting its efforts in this area again this year.
