A light-hearted comic story set in a place that is very familiar to the vast majority of people. Whether it’s Finida, Mareda or any other campsite in our southern neighbours. So many of us go there that it is hard to imagine a summer without the singing of starlings, fluffy morning bread and the daily chores that come with a caravan holiday. We have therefore set a story that could take place anywhere in Finida, which evokes nostalgic memories of carefree summer days in the Marisik. Despite the relaxed and familiar setting, the play reveals a deeper problem that many people face, but rarely talk about out loud. Starting a family is far from as obvious as it may seem at first glance, and we wanted to shed light on an issue that is often overlooked in society.
We hope that the play before you will succeed in evoking memories of summers spent and remind us all how sometimes mundane things like friendship and love can reveal the deeper layers of life.
