The Slovenian Alpine Museum invites you to the presentation of the third, updated and expanded edition of the touring guide The Most Beautiful Touring Skiing in Austrian Carinthia by Mitja Peternel. The event will take place on Friday, 14 March 2025, at 6 pm.
The updated ski encyclopaedia of the northern side of the Karavanke Mountains adds new tours in Salzburg’s Lungau region, making a total of 154 detailed touring ski slopes – from the mid-mountains to Austria’s highest peak, the Großglockner. Many of the destinations also include additional ascent and descent options from neighbouring peaks, bringing the guidebook’s total to almost 200 touring skiing destinations. This comprehensive 400-page work is sure to delight all lovers of snow adventures.
