We invite you to the Meeting with Neighbours, which will take place on Saturday, 10 May 2025, at 16.00, in front of the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana (arrival of participants from 15.30 onwards).
Our friends from Carinthia will again this year make the pilgrimage across the Jepca saddle to Dovje, to the Jakob Aljaž monument and to Mojstrana. The tradition has been continued since 2004. Some of them will also cycle. The cyclists will be joined in Rateče by athletes from the Nordic Association Rateče Planica, the Zelenci Sports Association and members of the Jaka Rabič Dovje Mojstrana Cultural and Artistic Association. The pilgrims will bring with them a cross and a heart, which symbolise the unity between nations and friendship.
The event has a special meaning of linking the two countries, as for many years we have been weaving a chain of friendship and cooperation.
The meeting will be accompanied by a short cultural programme, including a performance by the Jesenice – Kranjska Gora Wind Orchestra.
