Vili Resnik is a name we all simply know—not just as a musician, but as a legend who has been captivating Slovenian audiences for decades with his energy, charisma, and a voice that hits straight to the heart.
His popularity is based not only on his hits but also on the fact that he is always genuine, approachable, and sincere. He often says that he is not a star on stage, but a person among people. He will always step off the stage into the crowd, shake hands, give hugs, and sing together with the audience—because he believes music truly resonates only when shared with people.
He began his musical journey as a guitarist and singer in various bands. The turning point came in 1990 when he became the lead vocalist of the popular group Pop Design, achieving great success and creating hits such as “Ko si na tleh”, “Ne bom ti lagal”, “Potepuh”, “Pokliči me nocoj” and many others.
