On Saturday, 29 March, from 19:00 onwards, the starting numbers for Sunday’s final men’s race of the 2024/2025 season will be awarded on the event platform in front of the Kompas Hotel in Kranjska Gora. The music bands Vzrock and California will be there to liven up the event.

One of the most noble Slovenian bands is back in the original line-up for the 35th anniversary of its career.
‘V meni je California’, ‘Ne pozabi me’, ‘Moje hrepenenje’, ‘Ledena ptica’, ‘Ustavil bi čas’, ‘1000 kilometrov’, ‘Stara barka’, ‘Nisem avtomat’, ‘Goloba’, ‘Reci da si nora name’, ‘Rad letel bi’, ‘Srečna družina’ … are just some of the hits by one of the biggest Slovenian bands. They burst onto the scene just before independence, after their first successes they ventured into rockier waters, and then reached a new peak at the beginning of the millennium. And soon after the success of one of the best-selling covers in Slovenian music history (‘1000 kilometres’), they retired from the concert stage in 2004. After that, they only played together at a birthday party, at the anniversary of Dragan Bulič’s show, and after the concert reactivation in 2022, at four and a half nostalgic concerts. Last year, they also made their official return to the scene with a big concert at the Ljubljana Media Centre to celebrate their 35th anniversary, and along with all the unforgettable hits, they also presented some brand new music.
California is a top-notch band with a whole bunch of unforgettable pop, rock and dance hits that have stood the test of time and influenced generations, and they also like to spice up the programme with some MZ Hektor hits and songs that frontman Matjaž Zupan has created for other bands.
