Please be informed about the winter opening hours of the museums in the valley:
The Slovenian Alpine Museum will be CLOSED from 6 to 21 November. From 21 November we will switch to winter opening hours, Tuesday – Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm.
The Kranjska Gora Museum in the Liznjek Homestead will be CLOSED from 6 to 21 November. From 21 November, the museum will reopen on its winter schedule, Tuesday – Sunday from 9 am – 4 pm.
The Escape Museum Rateče in Kajžnk House will be open by reservation.
The national road through Radovna has been reopened since 12 October, but the municipal roads in the Krma and Kot valleys remain closed.
The Tourist economy, in cooperation with the Kranjska Gora Tourist Board and the Jesenice Regional Red Cross Association, invites you to a charity concert.
On 2.9.2023 the road to Vršič from Erika onwards will be closed from 11.00 to 13.30.
The Slovenian Mountaineering Association and the Ljubljana Matica Mountaineering Society inform that between 14 July 2023 and 18 July 2023 and between 26 July 2023 and 30 July 2023 a section of the highly demanding mountain trail Spomenik (1009 m)-Kozja dolina-Begunjski studenec (2080 m) (Tominškova trail) will be CLOSED. Urgent major maintenance work will be carried out on the mountain trail.
As the landscape and preserved cultural heritage pass by, you will feel the pulse of the places under Triglav as you ride in a tourist bus. The buses to Vrata are part of the Vrata Valley Traffic Calming Project, supported by the Triglav National Park.
At the event, local providers were awarded certificates that testify to the high quality of their products and, using local raw materials, tell the story of the tradition, culture and way of life in the Upper Sava Valley.
The Triglav National Park, in cooperation with the partners of the project VrH Julijcev, has produced three short videos on the hottest topics in summer.
