This weekend marks the start of the cross-country skiing season in Planica!
The winter pulse is awakening once again in the valley beneath Ponce – this weekend, a new cross-country skiing season officially begins at the Nordic Center Planica!
The Planica team has already started spreading last year’s snow, which will cover the ski tracks in the coming days. If weather conditions allow, the first cross-country skiing enthusiasts will be able to step onto the snow as early as Saturday, November 15, symbolically opening the 2025/26 season!
Preparations are in full swing, as the Nordic Center team strives to provide skiers with excellent conditions from the very start of the season. Once again, Planica remains one of the first places in Slovenia where cross-country skiing enthusiasts can enjoy groomed trails as early as mid-November.
Day passes and seasonal tickets for cross-country skiing are available at the main cross-country facility, and existing users can conveniently arrange them online at www.nc-planica.si.
