Start of pre-sale of multi-day tickets for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Planica 2023

The pre-sale of multi-day tickets for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Planica 2023, which will take place next year between 21 February 2023 and 5 March 2023, officially started with a ceremony in Planica on Wednesday 21 September. The multi-day tickets are available to fans from today. The ceremony in Planica was attended by members of the Slovenian ski jumping team and other distinguished guests. Day tickets will go on sale on 1 November 2022.

Enzo Smrekar, President of the Ski Association of Slovenia and OK Planica, said at the successful final inspection of the International Ski Federation FIS and the ceremonial start of the pre-sale of multi-day tickets for the World Championships that Slovenia has once again shown that we are able and capable of hosting sporting competitions at the highest level.

Michel Vion, Secretary General of the International Ski Federation FIS, also expressed his appreciation to the OK Planica team. The team is well prepared. All we need now is snow and cold.”

More than 50 representatives of the foreign media from Europe and around the world, alongside senior representatives of the FIS, were at the World Ski Championships venue these days. As part of the Forum Nordicum meeting, the organisers presented the most beautiful venue in the history of the Nordic World Ski Championships, the competition programme and the accompanying activities.

The pre-sale ceremony took place at the central facility in Planica. Foreign guests tasted traditional Slovenian dishes at the “Taste Slovenia” event, which focuses on presenting the diversity of Slovenia’s landscapes with seasonal and local ingredients in an authentic and original way.

Planica and Kranjska Gora will host the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships next year, from 21 February 2023 to 5 March 2023, and interest in the biggest event in the history of the Republic of Slovenia has already been overwhelming.
