Restaurant Milka in Kranjska Gora proves once again that it is one of the top gastronomic restaurants. After winning the prestigious two Michelin stars and the Michelin Green Star for sustainability last year, it has now received another important accolade – four Gault&Millau caps.
Four Gault&Millau caps – another recognition for fine cuisine
The prestigious gastronomic guide Gault&Millau awarded Milka Restaurant four out of five possible caps, making it one of the best restaurants in Slovenia. The awards were presented at a special ceremony where the best chefs and restaurants in Slovenia were honoured. Chef David Žefran and his team confirmed their commitment to culinary excellence and hospitality at the highest level with this award.
Gault&Millau is one of the world’s most influential culinary guides, rating the best restaurants and chefs since 1965. Instead of the traditional star rating, it uses a system of caps – the more stars a restaurant receives, the more prestigious and high quality its offerings.
Kranjska Gora – an increasingly recognised culinary destination
With awards such as Michelin stars and Gault&Millau caps, Kranjska Gora is becoming an increasingly desirable destination for lovers of fine cuisine. In addition to unspoilt nature, world-class sporting experiences and a rich cultural heritage, Kranjska Gora now offers unique gastronomic experiences that attract gourmets from all over the world.
