Restaurant Milka once again awarded two Michelin stars, Restaurant Triangel again honored with Bib Gourmand

The year 2025 once again confirms that culinary excellence in the Kranjska Gora destination is no coincidence, but the result of dedication, innovation, and respect for the local environment. We are happy and proud that Restaurant Milka has received two Michelin stars for the third consecutive year, while Restaurant Triangel in Gozd Martuljek has once again earned the prestigious Bib Gourmand designation, which Michelin awards to restaurants offering exceptional value for quality and price.

Restaurant Milka, led by chef David Žefran, remains among the most elite Slovenian restaurants. Michelin inspectors once again highlighted its exceptional culinary identity, based on a modern interpretation of Alpine cuisine combined with inspirations from Nordic regions.

We are delighted that Restaurant Triangel, operating within the Triangel Boutique Hotel and led by chef Jon Zupan, has once again impressed the Michelin inspectors and earned the prestigious Bib Gourmand designation, awarded to restaurants offering exceptional value for quality and price.

This year, the Michelin Guide included 72 Slovenian restaurants—the highest number to date—confirming Slovenia’s growing reputation as one of Europe’s leading culinary destinations. We at the Kranjska Gora destination are extremely proud to be part of this story.
