Penzion Livada awarded the EU ECOLABEL

Penzion Livada has been awarded the internationally recognised sustainability label, the EU Ecolabel, under the criteria for catering establishments. According to the explanatory memorandum, the small, family-run guest house with a tradition of sustainable business is co-creating the story of sustainable tourism in Kranjska Gora.

The tourist destination Kranjska Gora is currently following the Sustainable Development Strategy of the Municipality of Kranjska Gora 2030, in which one of the development goals is focused on a quality transition to a green and boutique tourist destination.

One of the activities envisaged is to promote the acquisition of environmental, green and other quality certificates that will contribute to the green transformation of Kranjska Gora.

By obtaining the internationally recognised sustainability label, Penzion Livada has further contributed to upgrading the tourist offer.

The team of Tourist Board Kranjska Gora congratulates the team of Penzion Livada.

Penzion Livada is a small, family-run guest house with a tradition and the eighth Green Label provider in the destination.

EU Ecolabel

The European Union Ecolabel (Ecolabel flower) is a very interesting instrument for ensuring environmental protection, which is voluntary and market-based. The label distinguishes products or services that meet high environmental standards and high performance criteria. The Ecolabel represents an added value and competitive advantage for its holder in a growing market for goods and services.
