ARRIVAL TO PLANICA
Free bus transport from Kranjska Gora and surrounding area to Planica will be available to all the visitors. We advise you not to go to Planica by car. Buses are given priority for both arrival and departure from Planica!
Buses with a height of more than 385 cm will not be able to park in Planica!
From different parking spaces you can also walk to the valley of world champions.
PARKING
Visitors coming to Planica with their own vehicles will be directed to parking areas by the organizer’s signs and instructions from marshals. Parking in Kranjska Gora is possible in public paid parking areas unless otherwise indicated by the organizer’s signs.
Parking outside of designated parking areas, especially on or along the road, will be strictly penalized by the police and municipal enforcement officers.
THE VIP AND MEDIA parking area is located in Podkoren.
ENTRY POINTS FOR VISITORS
Entry points for bus circle route, which starts a few hours before the competition, are located in Kranjska Gora (main bus statiton & parking place behind Police station), Podkoren and Zelenci (only if organised buses will park there).
Buses on circular route will not stop in Rateče. Buses on route from Planica will only stop at main bus station in Kranjska Gora.
The entry point for the shuttle services for VIP and MEDIA guests in located near ACCREDITATION CENTER in Podkoren.
TRAIN TO PLANICA – EASY AND AFFORDABLE
At the finale of the 46th FIS World Cup in ski jumping and flying in Planica between March 27th and 30th, 2025, you can travel to the most beautiful valley in the world any day with combined train and bus transport.
In collaboration with Slovenian Railways, we will again offer the opportunity to travel to Planica for the FIS World Cup finale in ski jumping and flying by train and from Jesenice onwards by bus.
We have also prepared a special benefit for all ticket holders to watch the Planica competitions – you can travel to Planica from any railway station in Slovenia to Jesenice and back by train for free.
All you need to do for a worry-free journey is to present your ticket for the Planica FIS World Cup finale in ski jumping 2025 at the passenger ticket office or, if it is closed at your boarding station, directly on the train.
From Jesenice, you can then proceed to Planica by bus, the connections to Planica and back are published HERE.
International trains will stop only on railway stations that are writen on offical Slovenian Railway webpage.

ENTERING THE EVENT SITE
During the competition Planica area represents a wider event space. Retention in one spot and watching the competition is only allowed when possessing a ticket or any other basis that allows access to the control area.
Since we wish to prevent congestion at the entrances and ensure that visitors reach the event site as fast as possible, entry will take place in these steps:
1. Ticket control will be performed at the outer entrances.
2. This will be followed by entering the control area.
- Visitors with baggage will be directed to entrances for inspection
- Visitors without baggage will be directed to separate entrances
Event site opening times:
> Thursday, 27. 3. – 6.00 to 2h after the end of competition
> Friday, 28. 3. – 10.00 to 2h after the end of competition
> Saturday, 29. 3. – 5.30 to 3h after the end of competition
> Sunday, 30 3. – 6.00 to 2h after the end of competition
> Entry-control points open practically simultaneously or with a 15-minute delay
> Food/drink offer ends one hour before the event site closes.
