The Infrastructure Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia hereby informs that from 05.05. to 14.06.2025, every weekday between 07:30 and 17:00, the road to Vršič (R1-206) will be completely closed due to works (reconstruction of the regional road, drainage and car parks in the area of the top of the Vršič Pass).
However, between 17:00 and 07:30, a one-way alternating closure with traffic lights will be in place.
During the full closures, traffic will be diverted by traffic signals to a diversion via Italy via the Predel border crossing.
