End of the partial and full closure of the road over the Vršič Pass

Please be informed that the construction works at the top of the Vršič Pass have been completed for 2024. From Wednesday, 30 October 2024, from 15:00, the road will be fully passable again, with no half or full closures. Access to all huts in the area of the pass will be unimpeded.

Construction work will resume in spring 2025, depending on weather conditions.

We thank all visitors for their understanding and tolerance during the works. Please keep up-to-date with the latest information on the road situation, which is available 24/7 on the website of the Traffic Information Centre for National Roads.
