The Kranjska Gora Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Kranjska Gora Tourist Board and the Jesenice Red Cross Regional Association, invites you to join the all-day charity campaign “Kranjska Gora for Slovenia”, which will take place on Monday, 14 August throughout the entire Upper Sava Valley.
In the shadow of the recent floods that have affected our neighbours, we are working together to help those who are most in need at this time. Our joint efforts are focused on the recovery of the affected areas and on supporting those who have lost their homes and property.
Kranjska Gora for Slovenia is a campaign to give you a reason to visit the tourism and other service providers in Kranjska Gora on Monday. By buying products or services from a number of suppliers, you will be contributing to a common campaign, as companies and individuals will donate the proceeds from the sale of their products or services to charity to help those affected by the floods.
From 18.00 to 22.00 you are invited to a charity concert at the Square in Gorizia, featuring performances by Zvita feltna, Vili Resnik, local Denis Porčič – Chorchyp, Alenka Gotar, Marko Stanković and others. Entrance will be free and visitors will be able to make voluntary contributions, which will be collected in cooperation with the Jesenice Red Cross Regional Association, with all proceeds going to help those affected by the floods. The charity concert will give locals as well as local and foreign guests the opportunity to help. Every donation will count and together we will make a difference in the lives of those facing challenges after the floods.
Join us in the Upper Sava Valley and let’s show that together we can do great things. Your presence and contribution are invaluable, so you are invited to support the “Kranjska Gora for Slovenia” charity campaign and attend the charity concert and help in any way you can.
Thank you to all of you who will respond to our invitation to take a positive step forward together and make a small contribution to improving the situation where it is worst today.
