B&B Pr’ Gavedarjo has again this year been awarded the internationally renowned Green Key Award for excellence in sustainable tourism. As the first accommodation in the region to be internationally certified for sustainability (already in 2016), it remains a model of responsible tourism.
They have already committed to minimising their impact on the natural environment by renovating the house, using only natural materials and choosing advanced technological solutions for heating. Guest comfort and energy efficiency are ensured by advanced heat recovery technology, which reduces heat loss. Last year, they also started generating electricity from their own solar power plant.
Over the years, Pr’ Gavedarjo has remained true to its sustainable principles, which include responsible use of resources, only organic fabrics and cleaning products, collaboration with local suppliers and preservation of the natural heritage. The Green Key Award is a testament to their vision of responsible and sustainable hospitality.
