Please be informed that as of today, the gates to enter the Vrata Valley have been put into operation. The access of motor vehicles to the restricted area of the Mojstrana Vrata road is limited to a maximum of 195 vehicles. Road users are informed about the free parking spaces in the valley via an information system set up on the regional road in front of Mojstrana, in the settlement near the Mercator store and just in front of the barrier.
Price list for parking:
16.3. – 14.6. and 16.9. – 15.11:
Passenger cars: first hour free, each additional hour EUR 2,00, daily parking 24 hours: EUR 15,00.
BUS daily parking from 00:00 to 24:00 – 25,00 EUR.
15.6. – 15.9:
Passenger cars first hour free, each additional hour EUR 4,00, daily parking 24 hours: EUR 20,00.
BUS daily parking from 00:00 to 24:00: 50,00 EUR.
During this period, the municipality provides free public bus transport to Vrata, but you can leave your car at more affordable parking lots outside the Vrata valley, in Mojstrana.
In the period 16.11. – 15.3.:
Parking behind the barrier is free, but access to the valley will be possible up to the maximum number of motor vehicles, i.e. 195 vehicles, and until the road is closed by the road maintenance company due to winter conditions.
The entry restriction does not apply to residents living behind the barrier, landowners, tourists staying in accommodation in the valley, employees of the facilities, deliveries and rescue and other emergency services in the course of their duties. Exemptions to enter the Vrata Valley are subject to a special permit issued by the barrier operator, Komunala Kranjska Gora, d.o.o..
