In August, Kranjska Gora and thus Slovenia will for the first time host a special edition of the world’s most famous obstacle course brand, whose ambassador is the current world champion in this sport and probably one of the most interesting Slovenians, Rea Kolbl.
This year, the venue will be set entirely on the slopes behind the hotels, so that spectators can see the competitors on the entire route, and with plenty of additional entertainment and animation, Kranjska Gora will be transformed into a real little Sparta for one weekend. So don’t forget to bring with you also rigid, spears, shields, helmets and other suitable equipment that rolls you around the attic from past carnivals and themed parties with friends.
Spartan is one of the world’s most famous sports brands and an iconic format of obstacle courses, hosted by the most attractive destinations in the world, and is also famous for the high quality of the organization. With over 200 competitions a year, it is one of the largest sports movements and communities of competitors, connected by a passion for movement, new challenges and pushing its own boundaries. All this will be combined in an attractive form by the first event of this prestigious series in Slovenia, which will also offer one of the most attractive routes for the competition – behind the scenes of the Triglav National Park.
EVEN MORE EXCLUSIVE, ATTRACTIVE AND COMPETITIVE
For this year’s performance, the organizers of the Slovenian competition, in cooperation with the owners of the series, have designed a format adapted to global health conditions, which will offer a concentrated dose of adrenaline for all professional and recreational participants.
There will be competitions in the sprint discipline, both on Saturday, the 28th August, a limited number of competitors will take to the track (in accordance with the applicable ordinances on gathering people at public events). A special feature will be that each competitor will be able to compete on the track twice, in the morning and in the afternoon. Preference is given to competitors who have already registered on last year’s topic.
