In February, a series of three lectures on Vršič will be held at the Ljudski dom in Kranjska Gora.
The second lecture will cover the results of research on the remains of the military road, cableway and other military buildings that were built in Kranjska Gora, Vršič and Trenta during the First World War. It will also present the remains from the post-World War I period that can be observed on both sides of Vršič, with an emphasis on the remains of the “Alpine Wall” built by the Italian army.
The lecture will be given by archaeologist dr. Uroš Košir.
