Slemenova špica is a real gem in the Julian Alps. It is located at an altitude of 1909 m. With its almost fairytale-like appearance, it is a favourite among hikers and photographers, offering magnificent views of the Tamar Valley, Jalovec, Mojstrovka and other peaks in the surroundings. Larch trees grow on it, which at this time of year turn their golden glow. Slemenova špica is like a real photographer’s studio, with a wide range of motifs that will make you want to take pictures of panoramas, larches and interesting details. The path to the top is also very interesting photographically, as it is adorned with larch trees and flowering flora. The route is not difficult, but there is some climbing, especially at the beginning, so good hiking footwear (high hiking boots) is necessary. The weather in the Alps can be quite unpredictable, so you should bring gloves, a hat and a spare anorak.
