Nejc Suhadolnik is a photographer and explorer, always eager for adventure, discovering hidden corners and beautiful views. He has been inspired by the mountains since he was a little boy, while ski touring, mountaineering and paragliding give him new perspectives. He has been an active photographer for over a decade. In addition to freezing moments from nature, he also works in the fields of architectural, sports and product photography. He is based in Ljubljana, although he prefers to spend most of his time in the north-western part of Slovenia, far away from the cities. Nature represents peace, a place for reflection and answers that cannot be heard in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The exhibition presents moments of realisation of what a natural paradise we actually live in.
“Living in Slovenia used to be something I took for granted. Just over a decade ago, I couldn’t understand the enthusiasm of foreigners for our small country. But once you get to see all this natural beauty through the eyes of someone living in a completely different world, it quickly becomes crystal clear that you can only keep an open mouth and an enchanted heart.”
The exhibition will be open at the Slovenian Alpine Museum from 10 June to 3 July 2023.
