After five years, downhill mountain bike racing is returning to a once traditional venue, including the European Championship races, in cooperation with the Slovenian Cycling Federation. This year’s national championship will also count for points in the Slovenian 20Chocolate Downhill Cup.
The 20Chocolate Downhill Cup series calendar for 30 June had not yet confirmed the location, but we all firmly believed in the deal. Now it’s clear: the second race of the 20chocolate Downhill Cup series in the 2024 season will take place on Sunday 30 June at the Bike Park Kranjska Gora. This will also be this year’s national downhill championship.
On Saturday, 29 June at 14:00, the Slovenian Cycling Union is organizing free guided gravel and enduro tours around Kranjska Gora.

Gravel tour
Expect a good 30 kilometers of cycling and a significant altitude difference of around 900 meters. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time. We will adjust the pace to suit everyone. If there’s time and energy left by 5pm, we can make an extra detour.
Enduro tour
We will explore the surrounding single-track roads. Expect a good 10 kilometers of cycling with an elevation gain of around 600 meters.

Specialized Diverge gravel bikes is available by prior arrangement, subject to availability.
Suitable bikes: gravel or mountain bike, electric gravel or mountain bike.
Mandatory equipment: helmet, pads (for enduro tour), clothing and windbreaker suitable for the conditions, spare inner tube or tyre mending kit, small tools, food and drink.
