The twelfth season of the Let’s Go to the mountains movement opened on June 12 in Styria, and ends on September 18 in Gorenjska. Where? In Planica, where we will hang out with many top athletes from the Zlatorog family between 10 am and 3 pm. Well, we’re going to dance! We will be entertained by the ensemble of Gregor Kobal. We will climb the giant, play curling and disc golf, and we could go on and on. In short, it will be varied. Of course, we will not reveal everything for now, we have prepared quite a few surprises for you. See you?
The path to Zlatorog’s Kingdom in the Nordic Center Planica will lead us from three Zlatorog’s starting points, with the first starting point in Mojstrana, in front of the Slovenian Mountain Museum. 21 kilometers of walking to the finish line without major ascents (400 meters of altitude difference, 4 hours of moderate walking) will not be a major problem for experienced hikers. Runners are also invited.
Additional starting points that will require a smaller number of kilometers will be revealed exactly 10 days before the event.
Thirsty on the go, you definitely won’t! Laško “pit stop” will be available every 5 kilometers, where Laško 0.0% and Laško Malt will be available.
Lost calories? You will not be hungry at the finish. This will be taken care of by an experienced team of Gorenjska chefs.
And back?
You will be able to leave Planica as you arrived (on foot or by bike), and there will also be a free bus transport (every half hour from 1 pm to 4 pm) with stops: Rateče, Kranjska Gora, Gozd Martuljek and Mojstrana.

On this occasion, all hikers who diligently collect stamps in Planinski dnevnik 2021 should be reminded to send a duly completed (name and surname, e-mail address, mobile phone, date of birth) and stamped card with the first eleven stamps no later than 13.9.2021 (photo or scan) to the e-mail address gremovhribe20@gmail.com.
One last step to a well-deserved award? At the closing event on 18 September at the Nordic Center Planica, seal the twelfth, last (mandatory!) Stamp in a card and then pick up the prize at the event. Subsequent collection of the prize is not possible! You can only participate with one correctly filled-in card.
