The 14th season of the Laško Gremo v hribe movement ends with a party in Planica. On the last Saturday in August, from 10:00 am onwards, we will have fun with the folk music ensemble Veseli svatje, pop rockers Flirrt and the legendary – who doesn’t know them – Čuki!, under the baton of the Aktual and Veseljak teams! Top athletes from the Zlatorog family will also be with us. We will enjoy the activities of the Centre under Ponce and cross our fingers for the Slovenian basketball players, who will be playing their first World Championship game in Japan on that day.
There are four paths to the Golden Horn Kingdom
The route to the Golden Horn Kingdom in the Planica Nordic Centre, which will be the venue of the closing party for the third year in a row, will lead from four Zlatorog starting points.
Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana (from 7.30 to 11.30): 21 km and 4.5 hours of moderate walking
Na Pastaj Gozd Martuljek (from 8.00 to 13.00) : 10 km and 2.5 hours of moderate walking
Square in front of the Kranjska Gora Church (from 8.00 to 14.00): 5 km and 1.5 hours of moderate walking
Ledine car park in Rateče (from 8.00 to 14.00): 2 km and 20 min moderate walk
The routes for hikers from all four Zlatorog starting points will be marked accordingly. From Mojstrana to Planica there is also a cycling route, so you can also go to Planica with bicycles (an hour and a half of slow cycling), roller skates, cross-country skates, longboards, etc.
FREE ADMISSION TO THE ENTERTAINMENT AREA WILL ONLY BE POSSIBLE WITH THE TICKET YOU WILL RECEIVE WHEN REGISTERING AT THE SELECTED EXIT.FOR OTHER VISITORS (except for the physically handicapped), TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE PLANET (price: 5 €).
At the selected starting point, after registration (entry in the entry book) you will receive a TICKET for FREE ADMISSION to the party venue at the Planica Nordic Centre. Each hiker will receive one wristband. The wristbands for free entry will also be available for hikers between 8 am and 2 pm at the Laško Gremo v hribe hostess at the Lodge in Tamar.
And back to the starting point?
You will be able to leave Planica the way you came (on foot, by bike, etc.), but there will also be a free bus shuttle service (every half an hour from 13:00 to 17:00) with four stops near the Zlatorog starting points: Rateče (Ledine car park), Kranjska Gora (bus station), Gozd Martuljek (Zgornje Rute bus station) and Mojstrana (bus station).
