The tradition of Wind Orchestra in Jesenice is 147 years old, when in 1874 a good dozen blacksmiths became enthusiastic about traveling Czech musicians. The blast furnace fire and love of music helped to form many bands and orchestras through four political systems that greeted dignitaries and cheered ordinary people in joy and sorrow.
