For the fourth year, the Gornjesavski Museum Jesenice in cooperation with the SAGAR Collective organises film screenings under the Liznjek linden tree in Kranjska Gora. Three Slovenian documentaries by renowned directors will be screened in June, July and September.
On Friday, 28 June at 9 pm, we invite you to the first film evening, where nine short animated films will be screened.
The programme brings together a carefully selected selection of outstanding short audiovisual works by women filmmakers or those who identify as women from the latest editions of Animateka, Animest, Fest Anča, Animafest and Anifilm, which are part of the Animation Festivals Network (AFN). Their programme selectors recognise the power of women and highlight the importance of women’s voices in the animation industry. The selection includes unique entertaining but also dark stories created in a variety of animation techniques.
Entrance to all film nights is free.
*In case of bad weather, screenings will take place in the barn of the Liznjek Homestead.
