We invite you to the children’s performance The King in the Newspaper, which will take place on Saturday, 18 November 2023 at 4 pm at the Ljudski dom in Kranjska Gora.
Every authority that gives something of itself wants to be written about. So, too, the king in our play cannot accept that his name is not in the newspaper. How can he change that? He seeks advice from the Queen and the servants, and even gets an “ingenious idea” himself, involving jeans and fans. His best hope of getting newspaper coverage is the arrival of two mysterious guests. Will the poor king live to see his moment of glory?
The performance is performed by Linhart’s Čuki from the A.T. Linhart Radovljica Primary School and KD Kropa. The performance is for subscription and outside, ticket price € 8 one hour before the performance.
