A musical concert of Belgian orchestra De Ware Vrienden as part of the Summer under Vitranc events will take place on Friday, 2 August from 8:30 pm onwards on the square in front of the church in Kranjska Gora.
ABOUT ORCHESTRA:
The Royal Concert Band “De Ware Vrienden” from the Belgian municipality of Heusden-Zolder was founded in 1870 and is, as the name suggests, a close-knit group of musicians. Collaborating to deliver beautiful concerts at a respectable level and building and maintaining friendships is their main goal. Thanks to a diverse repertoire, they consistently succeed in captivating the entire audience.
The orchestra is conducted by Kristof Aerts, who has obtained a Master’s degree in orchestral conducting in 2020 at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. In addition to this orchestra, he conducts numerous other orchestras and teaches conducting at the local music school.
