1964 The first (unofficial) Yugoslav expedition to the Andes was organised, which lasted four months. Six members made many ascents in the Cordillera Real in Bolivia, 11 first ascents, and stood on three hexagonal peaks (Huayna Potosi, Illampu, Pico del Norte).
On 22 November at 6 pm, we will revive and commemorate her memory together in the company of one of the six participants – Lojze Golob, Neva Blažina Sedmak (Sandi Blažina’s daughter) and Tina Horvat (Tine Mihelič’s daughter).
The museum evening will also be accompanied by a photographic exhibition “A step beyond reality”, as Tine Mihelič described his experience of his first visit to the Andes.
