Mountain snack bar Lačni Kekec (Hungry Kekec)

In Kranjska Gora, right at the bottom of the ski slope under the Kekec chairlift, a lovely mountain snack bar Lačni Kekec (Hungry Kekec) awaits your visit. It’s a wee alpine corner with a soul of its own where we strive to make our guests feel at home. We include many local ingredients in our dishes and beverages. We aim to work with as many local Slovenian ingredient suppliers as possible; their products are then lovingly used for our dishes and beverages.

We are located in a beautiful and peaceful nature next to the ski slope. We are an environmentally friendly and green destination, so we recommend that you come to Lačni Kekec on foot or by bike.

The menu is based on local and homemade food, Slovenian dishes and delicacies from a real charcoal grill. We also offer baked dishes, spit-roasted dishes and locally produced selected meats. We are also happy to cater for groups and celebrations. The peaceful surroundings surrounded by nature with a large terrace, wooden swings and playgrounds make it an ideal location for families with children.
