Disappearing waterfall
The Black Water Waterfall rises below Slemen’s Spit at an altitude of 1909 m. It falls in many cascades, the last one is 70 m high and immediately below the waterfall it plunges. Four ice-filled waterfalls are visible in winter.
Access to the waterfall is easy: at the mountain lodge in Tamar, head in the direction of Sleme, cross the dry riverbed and reach the waterfall in just 20 minutes. The trail is also suitable for a family outing.
