The hike begins in front of the Kranjska Gora Tourist Information Centre. At the Hotel Kotnik, we turn right and continue to the Ljudski dom Kranjska Gora, then left and toward Korona, Resort & Entertainment. First, we cross the Vršiška cesta road and then the Pišnica River. To the right of Korona, Resort & Entertainment, we set off straight ahead (perpendicular to the river) on a steep but well-maintained path toward Drčev rut. The trail soon widens into a broader forest path and leads us to the Jasna holiday village. From there, we follow the signposts and take the wider trail east toward Gozd Martuljek. About an hour’s walk separates us from the intersection with the toboggan run in Gozd Martuljek. Here, we can choose to descend into Gozd Martuljek via the toboggan run (a forest road) or continue along Trail No. 6 toward the Martuljek Waterfalls. On the route between Jasna and Gozd Martuljek, we will also cross “Tofov graben”. While the trail is generally well maintained, some sections may become more challenging due to ongoing erosion.

Via Drčev rut to Lake Jasna and through Tofov graben to Gozd Martuljek
A wonderful hiking trail where you will see stunning natural sights along the way.
