Eko Rutaršce wanted to make a part of the existing path along the Sava Dolinka between the Gozd Martuljek and Kranjska Gora interesting, for socialising, entertainment, recreation and observation.
On the initiative of Eko Rutaršce from the Gozd Martuljek, the Municipality of Kranjska Gora has created a recreational, social and observation path along the existing path on the right side of the Sava River, by installing urban equipment. Along the trail, there are stations where physical exercises are presented, which are intended for the widest group of users, especially the elderly. The trail is interesting in all seasons and is intended for local people as well as other visitors. The route runs from Kekljev to Srenški Bridge, where information boards with a map of the route and marked locations of the stations are placed at both locations.
Follow the route along the Sava Dolinka River from Keklov to Srenški Bridge, where you will find, among other things, exercise stations, a bookshelf and view-guides to the Martuljek Group. The trail is 1.5 km long and can be walked in 20 minutes, but takes longer if you do the movement exercises. The exercises are presented with pictures and descriptions and are intended for a wide range of users. There are also several benches along the route for rest and relaxation. Where the views are most beautiful, there are lookout posts pointing to the individual peaks of the Martuljek Group, indicating their name and height, from the rocky peak of Kukova Špica to the scenic Kurji Peak. There is also a bookshelf, an outdoor bookshelf, a place for books and brochures to be read, borrowed and circulated along the trail.
The physical exercises on the trail are designed for walkers of all ages. They will enrich your walk as you will stretch major muscle groups, strengthen body awareness and link movement with conscious breathing in a healthy natural environment.
