At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the parish priest Josip Lavtižar from Kranjska Gora served in Rateče. A world traveler, writer and outstanding cultural figure, he travelled much of the world and devoted much of his time to the village of Rateče.
He decided to record all of Rateče’s history and heritage in a diary. But just before he managed to finish it, the diary disappeared. All that was left were mysterious clues that no one has ever been able to unravel.
Will you be the one to do it? Take a journey full of puzzles and clues through Kajžnk’s house, learn about the local history and make sure that the tradition of Rateče will never be forgotten.

The game is suitable for couples, families and groups. Visitors can choose their own course of play or visit individual rooms. The game takes visitors through the ethnological collection of Kajžnk’s House, bringing it closer to visitors in a fun way.
The Escape Experience is only an addition to the content of Kajžnk’s House, however, it will still be possible to visit the museum’s exhibition collection in the conventional way.
