From Aljažev dom there is a beautiful view of the mountains and peaks that surround the Vrata valley, the most beautiful is the view of the northern wall of Triglav. The walls of Cmir rise to the east, the walls of Begunjski vrh rise on the south side, and the top of Triglav can be seen above the Triglav wall.
From the monument we can see the entire upper valley of the Vrata to the Triglav wall and the Luknja pass between the Triglav massif and Pihavec. To the west are the steep slopes of Stenar, Dolkova špica, Škrlatica and Rokavov; to the north are the walls of Dovški križ, Škrnatarica and Kukova špica on the western side of the valley, and the forested slopes of Črna Gora on the eastern side.
