Poštarski dom na Vršiču has the most beautiful view of all Vršič outposts; on the hill in front of the lodge is a lookout plate with marked peaks visible. On the east side, there is a wall of Prisojnik nearby, where we can see the face of the Ajdovska deklica, which was shaped by broken rocks; on the south side we follow for some time the road to Trento, above which we see Veliko Špičje on the left, followed by Krn and the peaks above Peska, and on the right Srebrnjak, Bavški Grintavec and Pelce; on the western side, Mojstrovka rises above the Vršica pass; on the north side, above the road, there is a ridge that stretches from Mojstrovka to Kranjska Gora with Robič in the foreground, and to the right below the road, the valley of Velika Pišnica; along the road we see Erjavčeva koča, on the right the vast Krnica, above which rise the Martuljek mountains with Špik, Mala and Velika Martuljška Ponca and Škrlatica, and in the north we see the westernmost part of the Karavanke above the Upper Sava Valley.
