Our apartment is located in the cozy quiet village of Podkoren, just 3 km away from Kranjska Gora, at the intersection of the main Rateče-Planica roads in the direction of Italy and towards the Korensko sedlo border crossing in Austria.
We are 350 m away from the Vitranc ski resort, where for many years the World Cup for men has been held. Nearby there is a suitable ski area for children Velika dolina, which is part of the RTC Kranjska Gora Lifts. The cross-country ski trail runs just below the ski slopes to Planica, famous for its ski jumps, to the Tamar valley or to neighbouring Italy… You can take several winter excursions through the surrounding hills on foot or by skiing. Distance from other ski slopes: Trbiž-Višarje 15 km, Tromeja 20 km, Sella Nevea-Kanin 35 km, Osojščica 35 km.
In the summertime, there is one of the nicer bike routes, which takes you to the former railway line (D-2), where you can head towards Ljubljana or past Zelenci towards Italy, where you join the Alpe-Adria route that leads from Austria.
Kranjska Gora with it surroundings offers you plenty of activities in all seasons, promising an unforgettable vacation that provides you with many opportunities for a peaceful or active holiday.
Apartment*** is on the first floor of a renovated farmhouse with an entrance hall, one bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a sofa bed and a balcony, a kitchen with all the equipment: refrigerator, hotplate 2x gas and 2x electricity, hood, microwave, water heater, large dining table, smart TV and private bathroom with shower and toilet. Free Wi-Fi is available. Towels and linen are provided. The spacious apartments can accommodate from 2 to 6 people.
Parking is free in the courtyard next to the house.
We offer storage space for skis, bicycles and similar equipment.
Behind the house is a garden where you can enjoy the nature under the apple tree in the summertime, use the grilling equipment or taste some plants from the vegetable garden.
